1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Kilnio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Kilnio is a project management application that allows users to create boards, tasks, and collaborate with team members. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers with varying features.
3. Account Terms
- You must be 13 years or older to use the Service
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Upload malicious code or attempt to breach security
- Use the Service for spam or harassment
- Attempt to reverse engineer the Service
5. Payment Terms
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing. We will provide at least 30 days notice of price changes, and changes will not affect your current billing period.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal. Contact us at privacy@kilnio.com.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- Your account will revert to the Free plan
- Data associated with paid features may become read-only
- Your data will not be deleted unless you request it
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kilnio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the Service.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in that policy.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kilnio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
